Hey folks! You’re probably thinking… self-care? Really, another thing on my to do list? It’s easy. It’s simple. And we’re going to do it in a way that your kids won’t feel like you’re taking time away from them.
Does that sound like a good idea?
You might be asking yourself - why is self-care important? It's important because it lifts your spirits and fills you up.
Is self-care a hot bath? It can be. Is it a walk in nature? Why not! Whatever you choose to do, it needs to fill up your cup.
I know what it’s like. You give and give and give to your kids, your spouse, your home, your community… but you just can’t do that with an empty cup.
Only when your cup is full can you give to others. I had major health issues when my babies were little, all because I did not know about self-care and filling up my cup. It was not great. They had to see me struggle because I didn’t take care of me.
So, I’m going to help YOU, so that your babies don’t have to see you go through that. I’m going to give you TWO tips to help you fill your cup.
Your kids might actually notice these… and it’s gonna be a good thing!
- Essential oils
Make sure you choose a quality oil. Quality is important in everything. Not just in your oils but in your food and products as well. Do some research and find a company that’s transparent.- Put a drop in your hand. Give it a good rub to get those molecules moving… then, inhale.
- You can also rub some on your neck, as long as it’s not a hot oil.
- You will be lifted up! And a bonus is that the family will be as well because it effects the whole environment around you.
That is a super simple way to do self-care right there with the kids!
